Tooth ache can appear for different reasons, such as trauma, decay, overload, etc. and is cause by an inflamed or necrotic nerve. In some cases the pain can be cured by just removing the causing stimuli i.e. decay.
If the nerve is too damaged you need to remove the nerve in order to save the tooth. After cleaning out the nerve, the root canal is obturated with guttapercha and restored with a white filling or a porecelain crown.
When a tooth is broken for some reason we mend it with tooth-coloured filling material called composiste. We don't use mercury-containing Amalgam filling material.

A bridge means that you use your own teeth to support a 'hanging' tooth and thereby replace a lost one. There are different options to replace it, another solution to replace a missing tooth is to use the installation of a dental implant. An implant is surgically fixed into your upper or lower jawbone. After a healing period you can attach a ceramic crown/bridge to the implant.

Partial denture, is an option when you partially missing teeth and need to replace them. The partial denture can be made either from acrylic or with a thin metal structure on which acrylic teeth are attached.
Restoration of the underlying, natural tooth shade is possible by simply removing surface (extrinsic) stains (e.g. from tea, coffee, red wine and tobacco) and calculus (tartar). This is achieved by having the teeth cleaned by a dental professional (commonly termed "scale and polish".
